Amongst all the Brazilian coffees,
those originating from the Sao Paulo
region belong to the finest quality
(called Santos after the name of the harbor
and port from where the raw coffee beans are shipped).
Originating from the fazendas in Minas Gerais,
Santos coffee is reputedly one of the best
South-American coffees. Its low acidity,
velvety and captivating aroma and its
delicate hint of chocolate make this
sweet coffee perfect for breakfast.
I have tried all of the Compagnia dell'Arabica pods, and while they are all wonderful, the Brasil Santos takes the cake. It comes out perfectly every time, tons of crema and very smooth. I order it by the case so I always have some on hand.
